Synopsis :

Rurouni Kenshin The Movie is a Japanese film based on the Manga Comic and Series 'Samurai X' by Nobuhiro Watsuki with the same name. This movie focused on the live of Himura Kenshin who was famous as The Legendary Killer before Meiji Restoration in Japan named Battosai who had a mysterious technique in killing his victim. No one can defeat him. Until one day, Kenshin bored about his job and decide to become a normal rembler like the other people. He even change his sword into a sword that can never kill people. 

One day, he arrives in Tokyo with his new identity. After he buy a little food from the small shop, he read about a mysterious murder that use his identity as battosai to kill the innocent people without know his motive. Then he meet Kamiya Kaoru, a girl who attacked him because of his sword and found the hard life of that girl who live to defend her small dojo that give by her father with Myojin Yahiko. Soon, Kenshin become famous again because he win the battle in order to save Kaoru's dojo. And because of that he meet Saito Hajime, who was his old enemy and now become a head of police department in Tokyo, Takani Megumi, a beautiful mysterious woman who have mysterious background life, and Sagara Sanosuke. Kenshin started to living in his old life in order to protect his new friends and then fight his old enemies.

For Movie that makes by adaptation from comic, this movie is very good, I think, because this film is already show the detail about Himura Kenshin story like the manga and anime version. The plot story is also have detail story and logic plot. From the actor and actress of this movie, Takeru Sato is success make him as Himura Kenshin, but I think the cast who have a very suitable face and character is Yu Aoi. Yu success make Takani Megumi character to be one with her own character. I love her more than other character but it's not mean that the other character have a bad acting. Of course NOT! They also success in order to show their character act.

Although this movie was production in 2012, but I still recommend you to watch this movie for you who like about samurai movie. The other Japanese Samurai or Ninja movie, you may also watch "Shinobi". That the great Ninja film.
